Harper ("Hop") is almost 15-months-old and she is my little miracle. I spent the last 4 months of my pregnancy on the couch (and in the hospital sometimes) watching trashy daytime TV trying to keep her cooking long enough. She loves ducks (gucks) and dogs (gogs), shoes, walking to the mailbox, food and not sleeping. She already shows signs of being a nerd like her Mama; the first time she rolled over by herself it was to get a better view of "The Office". She is very petite and people in public are shocked that she can walk and talk. She is stubborn and sweet and I can't wait to see her grow up.

About Harper
This is Harper:
Harper ("Hop") is almost 15-months-old and she is my little miracle. About Travis & Quinn
Travis seemed less than thrilled when I mentioned that I was planning on writing an intro blog post about him, so I'll keep it short.
This is my step-daughter Quinn:
Travis is awesome and I love him. Sometimes he makes movies. We met on a movie shoot, actually. But not a movie he was making. Mostly, he's awesome. And I love him. :)
Now, onto Quinn, who really will be thrilled that she is immortalized on the internet, which she thinks knows everything.
This is my step-daughter Quinn:She is 6 and is in the 1st grade. She is sweet and hilarious. I call her Q, Doba and Quincess and she calls me Brownie. Her favorite things are reading, penguins, "horse-a-lynn" dolls, Pillow Pets (she has 5), Littlest Pet Shop, Wonder Pets and her baby sister (most of the time). When she grows up she wants to be a hairdresser or a famous singer or maybe a mom.

About Me
Welcome to my blog! Thanks for visiting. :) I figured I would make the first couple of posts about the members of our little family. And I'll start with me. I am a wife, mother and step-mother, firstly, and my family is my number one priority.
I was born in Portland, Oregon. My family moved to Wyoming a few months later and then when my parents split up my mom and I moved to Boise, where I now live. I'm very close to my mom and love when my Dad comes into town to see us. He lives in Stayton, Oregon.
I have a half-sister, Alicen, who is applying to grad schools and wants to be a Molecular Geneticist or something crazy like that. She's super smart. My half-brother, AJ, is a freshman at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon where he plans to major in Psychology.
I'm really big into reading, playing video games, watching movies, being a nerd...
I was a big community theater addict before I had Harper and plan to get back into that when she gets a little bit older. I'm the Historian and on the board of Daisy's Madhouse, which is a local theater company.
I'm a sales assistant for WPS (FLY Racing), which is a wholesale powersports distributor headquartered in Boise. I mostly make Excel spreadsheets and talk on the phone, and I LOVE IT! I work with a great and hilarious group of people and every day is an adventure.
